Week 7 Below you can find a link to the html outline of my in class presentation. Week 5 Below you can find a link to an in-testing flash file complete with assets. The item currently being revealed is currently a static graphic which will later be animated with minor shape tweens and coverted to a movie clip. Week 4 After going through several of my tutorials, I have determined that the best type of mask for the technique I would like to achieve is one that uses a mixture of animation and shape tweening. Unfortunately, I have discovered that the use of too much shape tweening results in a chaotic mess, and so my trials continue. For the Future: All of my attempts at masking have been made with the use of a static image being revealed. In my final technique, I would like to reveal a movie clip. I have yet to learn if this is as simple as any other type of mask or requires something different. I also have to learn a way to make my shape tweens cooperate or find an alternate method of revealing using masking that has the same visual effect as the shape tweens. Week 3 In addition to the four tutorials found below, two new tutorials have been added. After studying these basic techniques, I believe it will be a process of piecing them together into the whole that I want. Week 2 Searching for tutorials with examples of my specific masking technique turned out to be somewhat difficult. I was able to find a few tutorials on basic masking that I may be able to combine in order to create the effect I actually want.
